Event Cinema Association (ECA)
With growth in the opera, ballet, music and gaming industry, event cinema pushed entertainment audiences and their producers outside of traditional forms. Our work included raising the profile and awareness of the Event Cinema Association and its industry work during its first five years. This included Awards and Conference branding, producing web and digital design, industry publications and annual reviews, event and industry resource promotion, sector and leadership branding, as well as highlight and sponsor showreels including event trailers and showcase content.

Promoting Industry Impact
Following its inaugural year, the ECA led by Founder Melissa Cogavin, established itself as the industry voice pioneering best-practice, bringing together international stakeholders, market leaders and local members of the cinema industry (including international distributors, content providers and exhibitors) to coordinate, support and promote the growth of an emerging market.
To celebrate and document this achievement, we produced the ECA's first annual review published in both print and digital with a video version also delivered for integrated promotion. This project included content curation, writing, editing, design and print and video production.

Promoting Industry Guides & Resources
Written by ECA Members as an industry guide for all involved or seeking involvement in the event cinema industry, The Technical Delivery Handbook was produced as an easy to read best practice guide and how-to introduction into the exciting world of live event cinema and enables you to execute a live event at your venue with confidence. The industry first guide was promoted using integrated marketing through member channels, industry events, industry newsletters and print publications.
Promoting Membership & Recruitment
The ECA’s industry reputation was heavily supported by the Association’s recruitment of high profile members such as the BBC, Royal Opera House, British Museum, Royal Shakespeare Company, Opera World, Vue Cinema, Odeon Cinemas, Cineworld, Sony, Showcase Cinema and other recognisable industry players. Our work included raising the profile of membership right through to managing recruitment and registration sites, membership newsletter and website content, as well as membership promotion, all aimed at communicating the wide scope of industry benefits which included exclusive box office data tracking, sector insight, a networking database of international members from different sectors of the industry, leadership and horizon reports as well as exclusive invitation to networking events, conferences and workshops.
